| Paul
has been the Director of the Sonic Arts
Center since its inception and has
been the guiding force behind the design
of the facility, its classes, and degree
program. Paul is an active studio designer,
audio education consultant, and producer/engineer.
His work has encompassed a wide range
of experiences which include audio for
television and radio, studio recording,
mixing and mastering, textbook and books-on-tape
audio production, audio technology CD-ROMS,
and multimedia. This wealth of experience
has been translated into a program and
facility that reflects the diversity
of the audio and music technology industry
today. |

| As
the Associate Director of the Center,
Jonathan works closely with Paul
to direct day-to-day activities of the
Center and develop the ongoing direction
of the facility and curriculum. Jonathan
is a busy composer/arranger, producer,
engineer, and sound designer, who has
a formidable expertise in synthesis,
Midi technologies, and digital audio.
His expertise and professional experience
has played a major role in shaping the
direction of the second year classes
in Synthesis and Sound design, Digital
Audio, and Midi and Audio Technologies. |

| Joe
Popp has years of experience in the
music and audio industry in various
technical, administrative, and engineering
capacities. This includes work in the
post production, sound reinforcement,
and studio production areas of the industry.
Joe is also an accomplished composer
of theatre music and a rock guitarist.
Joe’s vast technical background
has made him an important voice in determining
the direction of the Center’s
facilities. In addition to Joe’s
technical duties he also provides tutoring
for students of the Sonic Arts Center. |
