The Manchester (England) Film Festival’s “Saturday Night is Music Night” event on March 5 will present live music throughout the day leading up to the world premier of the documentary “Vince Giordano – There’s a Future in the Past”. Vince Giordano is one of the most important practitioners of Jazz from the 1920s and 1930s and has worked tirelessly performing, collecting, and preserving this music for future generations. SAC director Paul Kozel has been involved with the film since it’s inception, first as the music recording engineer on location, and finally as the dialog editor, music mixer, and film sound mixer in post production. Paul will be attending the festival along with Dave Davidson of Hudson West Productions the co-director of the film and the director of the BFA Film & Video program here at City College. Congrats to Paul and Dave!
